Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Whole Atlas (“Whole Atlas,” “we,” or “us”) handles information collected through wholeatlas.com (the “Site”). It applies only to the Site. It does not describe how Whole Atlas handles data contributed to its platform under a written agreement; those agreements govern that data.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, along with your IP address. This information is sent to our inbox by email so we can respond to you.
Bot protection. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals from your browser to distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare acts as our service provider for this purpose.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring sites, using cookies or similar identifiers.
Server logs. Our hosting providers record standard technical information for requests to the Site, such as IP address, request time, and user agent, to operate and secure the Site.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and carry on the conversation you started.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Site data for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, including Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (bot protection, DNS, and email delivery), and Google (analytics and email), and when required by law or to protect our rights. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention
Contact form messages are kept in our email system for as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the conversation. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Server logs are retained by our providers for a limited period.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, which may limit analytics collection. You can ask us to delete the contact messages you have sent us by writing to us through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the right to access or correct your information; we will honor those rights as required.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
