These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of wholeatlas.com (the “Site”), operated by Whole Atlas (“Whole Atlas,” “we,” or “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Scope
These Terms cover the public Site only. Access to Whole Atlas data products, APIs, and platform services is governed by separate written agreements, which control in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes to learn about Whole Atlas and to contact us. You agree not to interfere with the Site’s operation, attempt to bypass its security or bot-protection measures, scrape or harvest content or contact details, submit unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content, or use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages.
Submissions
Information you send through the contact form should describe your organization and use case. Do not send personal records, protected health information, student records, credentials, or confidential source data. By submitting a message you confirm you have the right to share its contents and you grant us permission to use it to respond to you and evaluate a potential relationship.
Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, design, and the Whole Atlas name and wordmark, is owned by Whole Atlas or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing on the Site grants you any license to Whole Atlas data products or platform services. You may not reproduce or redistribute Site content without written permission, other than viewing it in your browser.
Third-party services
The Site relies on third-party services, including Cloudflare Turnstile and Google Analytics, that operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services the Site links to.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Content on the Site is for general information and does not constitute an offer, commitment, or professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whole Atlas and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lucas County, Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Site after a revision means you accept the revised Terms.
